GCL International is pleased to announce the successful transition of our UKAS FSSC 22000 accreditation to Version 5.
“This is another great milestone for 2019 in achieving accreditation to the latest version of this internationally recognised standard for food safety (FSSC 22000). The technical team have worked very hard to achieve this and many other additional accreditations through 2019 – it really is a significant step forward for us which enables GCL International to support its worldwide clients with accredited food safety certification” Gary jones, CEO.
“The adoption of the new ISO 22000 high level structure in Version 5 provides a great opportunity for organizations to enable the integration of their food safety management system with other management systems such as ISO 9001 for quality management. Along with a focus on operational risks, there is now additional consideration for organizational risks and opportunities which enable more sustainable and consistent business practices for all stakeholders along the food supply chain.” Sally Elsherif, QA Director Operations (Metro) and member of the FSSC Board of Stakeholders.
